Itingo provides ITIN application services entirely online. No physical documents are shipped as part of our standard service.
Processing Time
- Standard ITIN application preparation: 2–5 business days after we receive all required documentation from you.
- Delivery of your prepared ITIN application to the IRS via official IRS channels.
IRS Processing & Wait Time
After we submit your application to the IRS, you will need to wait for the IRS to assign your ITIN. According to the IRS, most ITIN applications are processed within 7-11 weeks once they have received complete documentation. During tax season or for international applicants, processing times may be longer.
If Original Documents Must Be Mailed
- If you provide original documents (for example, for identity verification) and request that we return them, we will arrange shipping via a tracked carrier (e.g., USPS, FedEx, DHL).
- All shipping costs and any customs or handling charges are the customer’s responsibility.
- Estimated delivery times depend on your location and shipping carrier; these will be displayed or quoted at the time of checkout or when arranging return of documents.
Important Notes
- Because our service is digital, there are no returns or physical product shipments in the standard process.
- IRS processing time begins only after they receive the full, correct application. If they request additional documentation, that may delay your assignment of an ITIN.
- If you need your original documents urgently (for visa, legal, or any other purposes), please indicate this upfront so we can help you plan accordingly.
